Thanks to everyone who made it out for Cabbagetown Nuit Blanche.  Over the next week, we’ll be posting some beautiful video and photos of the night’s wonders.

For those of you who missed Brian T. Moore’s “Lighthouse” – check out the video below.  I saw this installation several times throughout the night but found it most magical in the blue hour just before dawn.

Kick-off Reception a Wild Success!

September 16th found Cabbagetown in a fervor over this crazy, beautiful event known as Nuit Blanche.  John Jay, Cabbagetown Nuit Blanche Committee Chair, and team hosted a reception and auction at John’s wine bar, the Cobourg, to raise funds to support our Nuit Blanche artists.  Several of our artists generously donated pieces of their work for auction at the event.  Though the event was wildly successful, we still have quite a lot of work and fundraising ahead of us in preparation for Cabbagetown Nuit Blanche.

Please consider supporting our artists through either a financial contribution, or by volunteering.  Contact cabbagetownnuitblanche@gmail.com for more information, or stop in to the Cobourg at 533 Parliament Street for a glass of wine and discussion with helpful staff about ways you can support us.
